Travel
Every once in a while I travel to various places, usually with little to no plan in place as to what exactly I’ll be doing.

Dec 2021: Cathare castles in the South of France while visiting family. This is the least impressive one.

Summer 2020: 8 hour hike in Pukaskwa National Park. It started raining at hour 4 because Northern Ontario in August.

Oct 2019: Andros, Greece. Give me a place where you can swim in 18C water in October any day.
Summer 2018 : Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. One of my favorite places in the world! Part of a wider East Coast Road trip spanning from Montreal to Washington DC. No broken cars this time! And yes: that's a Shuttle behind the SR-71, coz one was not cool enough!

Summer 2017: Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. Did Arches, Monument Valley in same trip. Very cool part of the world.

Summer 2016: Visiting family in France. This is in the medieval city of Carcassonne. Fun fact: those overhangs are because owners were taxed based on the ground floor foot print, not necessarily square overall square footage.

December 2015: Herculaneum, the "in" beachside resort of Antiquity. Got swallowed whole by a volcanic eruption of the Vesuvius alongside Pompeii. Those 2 cities are quite a place to visit.

Summer 2014: My worthy steed for the 13 000 km road trip smokes up in Sequoia National Park. In this instance, it was a leaky seal on back of the transmission. By the end of the trip, we were running on 5/8 cylinders. What a sendoff though!

Summer 2014: did a 13 000 km, 20 day road trip after graduating. Grand Canyon was one of the highlights.
